It was not until April of 2012 (at the Wanee Festival) that I purchased 2 hand hammered bowls. The woman explained to me that the bowls are made in India and contain 7 different metals. I spent hours playing all the bowls that were displayed and finally settled on 2 which seemed to speak to my heart and root chakras. I’ve played the bowls in yoga classes but also at “noise” shows to provide a healing energy and cleanse the palette (ears). Thanks to popnihil I have transferred these vibrations to magnetic tape and sincerely hope these sounds will provide focus and clarity for the cluttered modern mind.
